Não consigo configurar mysql no linux

Bom dia. Estou tentando configurar o mysql, mas não é possível iniciar o serviço.

systemctl status mysqld me mostra essa mensagem:

Possivelmente você já tinha o mysql instalado antes do mariaDB, nesse caso os dois mysql estão tentando acessar a mesma porta.

Remova o mysql e tente reinstalar o mariaDB.

sudo apt-get autoremove mysql-server

Consegui. Substituí o conteúdo do /etc/mysql/my.cnf para:
