F�rum Campo vazio - TEdit #579698

Pessoal boa noite.
Preciso de uma ajuda estou fazendo um programa teste onde tenho quatro Tedit, um RadioGroup, um Panel e 1 Bot�o. No evento onshow do formul�rio todos os TEdits ficam com status desabilitado e recebem uma string '#######'. No RadioGroup tem 4 op��es de c�lculo: Soma, Subtra��o, Multiplica��o e Divis�o. O Panel � o resultado do c�lculo. O problema � quando seleciono soma e tento realizar o c�lculo ele informa que '######' n�o � ponto flutuante e esse erro acontece em todas as op��es.
Teriam como ajudar?

Ent�o, o seu problema est� nesse m�todo, Button1Click:

Eu fiz uma adapta��o do seu c�digo, tirei os ifs do seu radiobuttons e utilizando a propriedade ItemIndex fiz a mesma coisa, apenas para ficar mais organizado (na minha opini�o);

Vamos l�, qual � o problema?

Se voc� marcar 'soma' e preencher o edit1 e edit2 teoricamente deveria funcionar, por�m, mesmo assim ele ir� tentar converter o valor do edit3 e edit4, armazenados em "c" e depois "d", voc� ter� o erro quando o seu c�digo da linha c:= strtofloat(edit3.text) for executado, pois o conte�do armazenado ser� '#####'

Temos algumas formas de resolver isso:
a) voc� pode setar sempre "0" em todos os edits
b) voc� pode fazer uma verifica��o antes de fazer a convers�o para a,b,c,d tipo
c) vc pode criar uma rotina para validar o conte�do dos edits

Ou seja, tem diversas formas.. eu fiz uma aqui mais simples para te ajudar, veja se te atende :)=

Wesley, boa noite.
Ent�o refiz o c�digo no evento do Bot�o onclick, tirei o evento do Form OnShow coloquei o TEdit recebendo ''0'' e funcionou.
