manual compilation:

Each packages is Dependent of another, so, open the package (.DPK) and see the REQUIRED SECTION (dcp's).

for example:

ExpressCore Library -> NONE required dcp
ExpressSkins Library -> MANY required dcp's SKIN and another as, core, painters, etc...

My order for compile manually, so, I make 2 GROUP: for RUNTIME and DESIGNER dpk's:
ALL RUNTIME dpk start, normally, cx???.Dpk or dx????.dpk
ALL DESIGNER dpk start, normally, dcl????cx or dx??.dpk

I like use one VARIABLE (environment) to indicate my folder target: Ex.: (Variable in Windows System or D.O.S. (for that old"er"))

SET DXVCL = C:\EMBARCADERO\DXVCL

So, in my DPK OPTIONS, I put (or change) my TARGET FOLDER for my Dcus, BPL, etc...

I always use: $(DXVCL)\$(PlatForm)$(Config)DCU for my DCU TARGETS.

So, will stay -->> C:\EMBARCADERO\DXVCL\Win32DebugDCU

You can do it for LIBRARY PATH, BROWSE PATH, DEBUG DCU PATH, etc... in TOOLS, OPTIONS -- IDE Delphi

So, its easy make a new GROUP and ADD just files RUNTIME or DESIGNER (remember: see the REQUIRED SECTION in Dpk and add it in)
