Isso infelizmente não acontece no Paradox. Uma vez, eu fui inserindo diversos registros para ver até onde ela aguentava. Parou em 327.670 l registros. A mensagem que ela e informou foi: ´Table is full´. Já no dBase eu inseri até 9 milhões de registros e não deu mensagem de erro nenhuma.

Se você usa BDE:

O tamanho de uma tabela Paradox está configurado de acordo com a opção BlockSize no BDEADMIN (se está com o valor 2048 você pode ter uma tabela de até 128MB. Aumente o valor do BlockSize pra ter uma tabela maior...).

depende da configuração do BlockSize que vc utiliza no BDEAdmin, aumente, e veja que ele insere, o problema é que se vc estivesse utilizando o Paradox em rede, vc iria perder em performance..
